In Loving Memory of:
JAMES HENSON

This is James Henson who built the Helmet Car and his pet Hog.  James loved the Razorbacks and we loved James.  He was my Sunday School teacher when I was in High School.  He was also my friend.

My wife and I were on our way back from a vacation in Nashville when my Mom called my cell phone and said that James' plane was missing.  It was a sad day in my life, and the Razorback nation when we lost James.  He was killed in an airplane crash in July 2004.

One reason to bring back the Helmet car is in memory of James.  He would be proud to see it back on the field.  It is our dream to accomplish that.  Anytime we talked about the Helmet Car, James would always have a story to tell... they always ended up with James giving the thumbs up sign!  I would give anything if we had taped him telling the story of the time it was stolen in Texas... He was... Angry.  But he got it back and all was well.

He was proud of the Helmet Car and he was proud of the happiness it brought to the fans... especially the kids.  I will never forget the first time he let me drive it... I was in Hog Heaven... literally!

James was broken hearted when the U of A made him stop bringing it to the games.  He wanted the fans to enjoy it so he sold it to me.  I am proud to restore it for James.
