Oh... some 40 years ago James Henson had a dream... He owned a small engine shop in Paris Arkansas and he wanted an Arkansas Razorback Helmet Car.... No one had one so.... He just built one!  It made all the home games and several road games and a few bowl games!  James and his buddies loved to take the car to games!

James' brother has promised us some history stories, including the year the Helmet Car was stolen in Texas... check back.

Our helmet car was one of five that was built:  Ours, One at a High School in Texas, Paris High School had one (The helmet is now at the Hawg House in Fayetteville painted red) Arkansas Tech University had one (Theirs is now at Ozark High School painted Purple and is on a four-wheller) and James Henson kept one that was part of his small engine shop sign.  That helmet is now the Paris Eagles helmet mounted on the chassis that Ozark discarded into a salvage yard.... we found it!)

This site desperately needs your photos and memory stories!  Please email me your thoughts on the Helmet Car... to hoghelmet@parisark.com and any pictures... Lets build a memory section for all us "Old Hog Fans"
